Understand accounts, profiles, and navigation
Your account signs you in. Your selected profile sets the person, organization, and role you use in TeamM.
One account can have several profiles. For example, you might have your own member profile, represent a child, and manage another organization. Choose a profile after signing in to select the person and organization you want to use.
Check the active person
Section titled “Check the active person”For a representative profile, the profile switcher shows As person. This is the person whose events, orders, and organization information you are using. Check it before changing information or starting a purchase.
Switch profiles
Section titled “Switch profiles”- Open the profile switcher in TeamM’s main navigation.
- Find the organization and person you need.
- Select that profile.
Understand roles and relationships
Section titled “Understand roles and relationships”- Member, Leader, and Manager are organization roles. They control access.
- Owner means a person is using their own member profile.
- Representative means an account is acting for another person.
Owner and representative are not higher or lower organization roles.
Why menus change
Section titled “Why menus change”Menus match the selected role and the services available in that organization. Switching from a manager profile to a member profile removes management menus such as Profiles, Places, organization Orders, and organization Settings. Personal settings and My orders remain in the user menu.
If the expected profile is missing
Section titled “If the expected profile is missing”- Confirm that you used the same sign-in method and email as before.
- If TeamM shows Join organization, no organization profile is linked to this account; join or reopen the invitation.
- Otherwise, open the user menu, select Join, and look through every organization in Your profiles.
- If the organization is absent, join it or use the invitation again.
- If the organization appears but the person or role is wrong, ask its manager to correct the role or link your account to the correct person. Do not create a duplicate account.
