Configure event, attendance, and financial defaults
These organization-wide settings control attendance, membership payments, and Leader permissions.
Configure team and attendance defaults
Section titled “Configure team and attendance defaults”Open Settings → Teams, then set:
- Pre-event time (in minutes): how long before an event Managers and Leaders can start recording attendance;
- Post-event time (in minutes): how long after an event Leaders can continue recording attendance;
- Leader can manage members: lets Leaders add, approve, terminate, archive, and restore members in teams available to them.
Submit the settings.
Managers can continue recording attendance after the post-event window. Leaders can record it only from the start of the pre-event window through the end of the post-event window. Attendance can be recorded only for active events in active teams.
Configure financial defaults
Section titled “Configure financial defaults”Open Settings → Financial, then configure:
- First month: beginning of the organization’s yearly membership accounting period;
- Payment due (days): days allowed to complete payment. For example, −5 makes payment due five days before the covered month begins;
- Payment reminder (days): how many days before the due point to send a reminder;
- Continuous membership: default used when creating a new team;
- Leader can edit order prices;
- Leader can receive cash payment.
Reminder timing is not the same as the due date.
TeamM assigns the organization’s currency from its country when the organization is created. Orders and prices use that currency.
Enable payment methods
Section titled “Enable payment methods”Under Settings → Financial → Payments methods, connect an online provider before offering it to members.
- Stripe appears only when enabled for the organization.
- tPay appears only for Polish organizations that have tPay enabled.
- Cash is recorded by Managers and by Leaders with Leader can receive cash payment; it is not a member checkout method.
