Record attendance and class makeup

Staff records attendance. Members can view it but cannot change it themselves.

Attendance can be recorded only for an active event in an active team. The person whose attendance you record must also have an active membership or leader assignment.

  1. Open Calendar and select the event.
  2. Open the event’s Members tab.
  3. Find the member.
  4. Select Present or Absent. On mobile, you can swipe the member in the corresponding direction.

Selecting a value for the first time saves it immediately. To change an existing value, select the other value and then select Accept in the confirmation dialog.

Merge Events lets you take attendance for several events side by side. The events remain separate.

  1. In Calendar, select the combine button beside a date that has at least two events.
  2. Choose at least two events from the list.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. The page keeps a separate member list for each selected event.
  5. Record attendance in the appropriate event list.

Class makeup marks an eligible absence as made up during another active event. The organization must offer class makeup, and you must have permission to manage members.

  1. Open the active event where the makeup will take place, then open its Members tab.
  2. Select Class makeup.
  3. Search for and select the member.
  4. Select one of the member’s listed absences under Making up class.
  5. Select Submit.

The list includes absences from the last 31 days where the member, original event, and original team are active. An empty list means that the selected member has no absence matching those conditions.

When a member reports an error, open the event for the reported team and date, find the member, and change the recorded value.
