Manage member status, profiles, and paired accounts
Ending team membership does not remove the person’s organization details or account access. Change only the part that matches the real-world situation.
Managers can use every section in this guide. A delegated Leader can use the team membership sections only for teams available to that Leader; Profiles and paired-account administration are Manager-only.
Review a member before changing status
Section titled “Review a member before changing status”- Open Teams → team → Members.
- Use the Status filter to find Active, Pending, Terminated, or Archived members.
- Select the member. If Unpaid settlements appears, clear it before trying to archive the membership.
End team participation
Section titled “End team participation”Use Terminate for an Active member and choose today or a future termination date. Membership ends automatically on that date. The former member keeps access to training history and reviews and can still pay outstanding dues.
Termination is available even when payment is outstanding. Archive appears only after the membership is Terminated and its overdue payments are resolved. Terminate first, then clear any outstanding settlement before archiving.
A Leader with Leader can manage members can terminate, archive, and restore, but that setting does not grant payment actions. A Leader can record a cash payment only when Leader can receive cash payment is also enabled; otherwise, a Manager must resolve the overdue payment before archiving.
Restore a former member
Section titled “Restore a former member”When adding somebody with a Terminated or Archived membership, TeamM offers Restore. Confirm that it belongs to the same person, then restore it to preserve their history.
Update profile and organization data
Section titled “Update profile and organization data”Manager only.
Open Profiles, search for the person, and open User data to edit their organization details. When a member proposes a change to organization-specific details, accept or decline it from their profile.
Do not replace one person’s details with another person’s information. Find the correct person or create them separately.
Manage owner and representative accounts
Section titled “Manage owner and representative accounts”Manager only.
Review the person’s paired accounts and relationship type:
- Owner: an account uses the person’s own profile;
- Representative: an account acts for the person.
Use Paired accounts to send an invitation, change an account between Owner and Representative where allowed, or remove a Representative. Owner accounts cannot be removed with the Representative removal action.
Move or add team participation
Section titled “Move or add team participation”Open Members → Add in the destination team and select the existing person. This adds or restores their membership without creating them again.
