Launch a new organization
Use this checklist for a new organization. The order prevents invitations, events, or orders from depending on missing places, schedules, or prices.
1. Set organization identity
Section titled “1. Set organization identity”Open Settings → General and set the organization name, email, legal identifiers that apply, and Colour. Then create reusable places and choose the office and mailing addresses.

2. Choose operational defaults
Section titled “2. Choose operational defaults”Open Settings → Teams and Settings → Financial. Decide:
- when Managers and Leaders can record attendance around an event;
- due and reminder offsets;
- the first month of the membership accounting year and payment methods;
- which abilities, if any, Leaders receive.

3. Create the team structure
Section titled “3. Create the team structure”Create the first team. New teams start in simplified mode as a single team. Decide Continuous membership during creation; it cannot be changed later. If the program needs several related teams, switch to the multi-team structure before adding them.
4. Add a recurring schedule
Section titled “4. Add a recurring schedule”Choose start/until dates, days, time, and place. The expected occurrences should appear in Calendar; use event editing for a one-date exception.

5. Set at least one price

7. Check the member journey
Section titled “7. Check the member journey”Use a dedicated test Member account to complete this path:
- Join or accept an invitation.
- Open the team and event.
- Select the configured price and create an order.
- Complete payment only if the organization has a safe test method.
- As a Manager, open the order. It should show the expected person, items, total, and payment state; then record attendance for an active event.
- Return to the test Member account. The order, covered period or events, and recorded attendance should be visible there.
Launch readiness
Section titled “Launch readiness”The organization is ready when a Member can join, see the intended team, events, and prices, complete the available payment flow, and see staff-recorded attendance. An assigned Leader should have only the actions enabled in organization settings.
