Use events, attendance, and event descriptions

Members use Calendar to find scheduled events. Attendance is recorded by a leader or manager; a member can review it and ask for a correction.

  1. Confirm the correct person in the profile switcher.
  2. Open Calendar.
  3. Move to the relevant month and select the event.
  4. Expand the event details to read its date, time, place, and status.

An event marked Cancelled will not take place. Attendance, class makeup, and new or edited descriptions are available only for active events. A manager can cancel or change one event without changing the recurring schedule, so use the date, time, place, and status shown on that event.

In Calendar, a recorded attendance badge shows Present or Absent on the event. If there is no attendance badge, staff has not recorded attendance for that event.

An organization can offer class makeup for an active member of an active team. The original and replacement events must both be active, and the original event must show Absent.

  1. Find the original event with the Absent attendance badge.
  2. Choose the active event where you want to make up the class.
  3. Give both event dates and teams to a leader or manager and ask them to arrange the makeup.

A member cannot initiate class makeup in the app.

Event descriptions are notes attached to one event; they do not edit its official date, time, or place.

  1. Open the event.
  2. Open Descriptions.
  3. Select Add.
  4. Enter the Description and submit it.

Descriptions created from a Member profile are visible only to their author, who can edit or remove them.

  • No Calendar menu: Calendar appears after the organization profile is activated. A requested profile remains in the joining flow.
  • The description Add button is disabled: descriptions can be added only to an active event by an active team member. Cancelled events and terminated or archived participation are read-only.
  • The event date or place is wrong: ask an organization Manager to correct it.
